I have now resurfaced all of the old blankets in my home and my family has loved them. I started getting request from extended family asking for Auntie quilts (thats what they call them) and I found out that my local thrift store has a sell every monday on their inventory!!So the quilts I made for my sisters kids cost very little. 99 cents a sheet and 99 cents to about $4.50 a used blanket depending on the size. So I didn't tax the environment using anything new. Lets face it you just can't beat $6.50 for a full or queen size quilt. And its fun too!! I will post the list of supplys on my next post.
